Lexington / Bedford Babe Ruth Baseball for 13 - 15 yo Players
Bedford Babe Ruth will be combining with Lexington Babe Ruth again this year to offer a Spring, Summer and Fall Program for 13-15 year-old players and possibly a 16-19 year-old Summer Program.  We are excited about this combination with Lexington as it will provide all level of players an opportunity to play in a fun and competitive program along with providing additional opportunities for players interesting in playing at higher levels of competition.

Registration is available at Lexington’s web site http://lexington.baberuthonline.com

About the 2015 Lexington/Bedford Babe Ruth Program;

Base Program:

  • Lexington / Bedford Babe Ruth will be offering fun & competitive Spring, Summer, and Fall Baseball. Games will mostly in Lexington and some in Bedford along with a few locally (Arlington, Medford, Somerville, Revere, Winchester, Belmont, and possibly Burlington + Waltham). Spring ball kicks off mid to late April and ends early to-mid June.  The base league will be a 6-8 team Lexington/Bedford league with games 1 or 2 nights a week along with a few Friday or weekend games against teams from the other towns. The Spring season will end with a short Lexington/Bedford playoff tournament that should conclude before school is out.  Every participant will have opportunities to play under the lights at Lexington’s Center 1 Field.

MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL PLAYERS PLEASE NOTEThe Spring League is structured with larger team sizes to allow players playing school baseball or other spring sports to comfortably fit participation into their schedule with the understanding that every player may miss a handful of games.  Middle school baseball players especially should note that the middle school season is quite short from early April until before Memorial Day and every attempt is made to not schedule Babe Ruth games in conflict with school games during that period.

  • 2 All Star games will be held; 1 in Lexington & 1 in Arlington.

  • Summer Ball kicks off late June, and ends mid August.

  • Fall Ball kicks off just after Labor Day and ends mid to late October

Select/Xtreme Baseball:

Lexington / Bedford Babe Ruth will be holding tryouts for our tournament style teams (13/14U & 15U). We will have team(s) competing in Xtreme Baseball with an opportunity to play for the Regional & State Championship. This will be a great alternative to AAU at a fraction of the cost. All participants will be given a chance to compete at a high level, and represent our communities in the State Tournament. Interested participants should send a message to  . Please note your name, contact info, and DOB.

Senior Baseball:

Baseball will be available to all 16-19 year olds. Lexington / Bedford will have a Senior Babe Ruth Team representing our community in the Middlesex League. League play kicks off mid June and ends mid August.

Please feel free to contact Eric Steinkrauss at   with any questions.

Please see the website for registration, additional details & updates: http://lexington.baberuthonline.com.
