Playing Days of Week for Different Leagues/Ages (subject to change as mentioned above, but is what we have historically tried for):

BASEBALL:

·   Coed T-Ball (age 6/Kindergarten) M/W

·   Boys Farm (1st and 2nd grade) T/TH games & Saturday morning practice

·   Boys Leagues for Players ages 9-12 (Grades 3-6 w/some 7th graders) M/W games & some F/Sat evening games & Sat morning practices

·   Boys Babe Ruth grades 7-9 & some 10th (schedule subject to leagues we play in) Games scheduled to not conflict w/ Middle School & High School teams

SOFTBALL:

·   K-girls, similar to last year, will play in a coed in-town Tee-Ball league with normal game days of Monday and Wednesday early evenings.

·   1st- 2nd grade girls will participate in a Bedford only in-town league with small team sizes with usually 2 games and an optional weekly practice on some combination of Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays - scheduled to avoid conflicts to degree possible with other spring team sports.

·   3rd- 4th grade girls will participate in a multi-town league.  We anticipate having multiple Bedford teams who will play against each other and also play games during the weekend, or occasionally on a weeknight, against spring recreational league teams from towns such as Billerica, Tewksbury, North Reading or Wilmington.  Games will be scheduled to avoid conflicts to degree possible with other Bedford spring team sports.

Bedford Babe Ruth Winter Softball Clinics

Bedford Babe Ruth Winter Softball Clinics Starting Tuesday, January 3rd- 7:30-8:30 pm (2nd-5th Grade) and 8:30-10:00 pm (6th Grade and Up)

We are starting up our winter softball clinics again this year on Tuesday nights. Again, we will be in the back gym of the high school. If you want to practice and/or learn how to pitch, this is the best time. We are going to try and have the younger girls up to 5th grade come in from 7:30 to 8:30 pm, with the 6th graders and up after that. Depending on the number of girls, we will adjust as needed.

Any questions, you can email or call Frank Baudanza at   or cell 781-254-6606.

Thank you.
