Jerseys
Players will not be given uniforms for the fall.
U12: Players to wear either blue or white (manager will communicate) for scrimmages.
Babe Ruth: Players to wear Babe Ruth uniform (communicate to manager if you do not have.)
Fall 2024 Baseball
The Bedford Babe Ruth Fall Baseball season (September 9 - October 28) is open to Bedford and Hanscom AFB residents who are in grades 2+ for the 2024-25 school year.
Cost
$80/player (includes town field fees). Will be billed after teams are made.
Ages 12 & U
Program is clinic-style with 2 practices during the week, and 1 scrimmage on the weekend. Schedules for the entire 6-week season beginning on September 9 will be finalized and communicated by Saturday, September 7. Players who will turn 13 by 5/1/25 are eligible to play Babe Ruth in the Spring may get some time on the big diamond with the Babe Ruth Fall team.
Clinics: Mondays & Wednesdays, time TBA (times typically don’t conflict with other town sports)
Scrimmages: Sundays, 5:00 pm
Uniforms: Players should wear appropriate baseball attire for clinics and scrimmages, including baseball pants, cleats (non-metal), and either a blue or white shirt for scrimmages (managers will communicate the color).
Equipment: All players are required to bring their own baseball equipment, to include: glove, bat, batting helmet, batting gloves, and catcher’s equipment. Please reach out to your team manager if you need assistance with equipment, we have amble equipment to offer for season use.
Volunteers: We need parent volunteers to help with the fall program. Please register here.
Ages 13-15
Players on this team will play in the Arlington League, with games up and down the Route 2 corridor. Schedule will be announced after we receive it from the league.
Practices & Games: TBA, but typically don’t conflict with school sports.
Uniforms: Bedford shirts / hats will be distributed to those who do not already have them.
Equipment: Players are required to bring their own baseball equipment to include: glove, bat, batting helmet, batting gloves, and catcher’s equipment.
