Coach Mike Tecci

https://thebedfordcitizen.org/2025/09/an-obituary-michael-albert-tecci/

It is with great sadness that Bedford Baseball and Softball share the passing of our Summer Commissioner, coach, father, husband, and friend, Mike Tecci. We would like to share a tribute written by some of the sixth grade dads:

"The sudden and tragic passing of "Iron" Mike Tecci this week has left a profound void in the hearts of our close-knit Bedford community. Mike was more than a familiar face on our athletic fields; he was an icon. A devoted husband and Dad, passionate teacher, and tireless champion for our young student-athletes, he gave freely of his time, energy, and love of the sports he coached.

His unwavering commitment, contagious enthusiasm, and countless hours on the baseball diamond and sidelines shaped not only the skills, but also the character of so many of our boys. His legacy lives on in the values he instilled, the lives he touched, and the community he helped strengthen.

Mike will be deeply missed, yet long remembered, on the fields he roamed and in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know him."

Please join us in keeping Katie, Xander, and Nolan in your thoughts.

Sincerely,

Bedford Baseball and Softball Board
